Versandrogyne or versatile androgyne refers to an androgyne or otherwise androgynous gendered person where the amount of masculinity and femininity they experience fluctuates. Their gender is simultaneously masculine and feminine, or is in between masculine and feminine. They sometimes feel like the feminine part outweighs the masculine part (femandrogyne), sometimes the masculine part outweighs the feminine part (mascandrogyne), and sometimes the two parts are equal (neutrandrogyne), however they always feel androgynous. They are never 100% masculine or 100% feminine. Versandrogyne people may also experience a connection to neutrality.
Flag
An alternate versandrogyne flag was made by emsydacat on August 1, 2021. It is made to resemble an alternate androgyne flag by the same creator that instead shows a striped gradient between the three colors (pink, purple, blue) to represent the shifting experience that versandrogyne people have with their gender identity.
Another alternate flag was created by Fivetrench on August 21, 2022. This flag is based off of the alternate androgyne flag and uses two pink/blue gradient stripes rather than the original blue and pink to symbolize the fluctuation between masculinity and femininity.
