Venusian (also known as Juparettian) is a non-binary xenogender in the celestial gender system. It is defined as someone who is juparian and lunettian. One could be both at the same time or they might be fluid between the two. They may feel different amounts of each gender at different times.
History
The term venusian was coined by Tumblr user Juparian's blog on November 9, 2017[1]. The original flag was created at the same time. However when coined the term originally referred to a gender that is "linked to the void and to a soft, celestial, feminine energy". The definition of many of the celestial genders were altered by System-Lgbt is a rework of the system, to make it more consistent[2]. The original definition of venusian is now included under plutoian, and ceresian.
The term juparettian was used to describe what is now venusian. Juparettian was first used by Juparian, in response to an anonymous question on November 2, 2017[3].
Flag
The original juparettian flag was posted by Juparian on December 31, 2017[4]. It is a combination of the juparian and lunettian flag, with the top two stripes coming from the juparian flag and the bottom three coming from the lunettian flag. The new venusian flag is based on the colors on venus.
The colors of the original venusian flag was a reference to the void.
