Vaguelabel

Vaguelabel describes when an individual uses a label, or multiple labels that don't quite fit their "true" gender, even though label(s) whose definition fits the individual's gender experience "better" are known by the individual. An example would be if someone identifies as a demiboy, even though the label libramasculine fits their experience better.

A vaguelabel individual can also use multiple labels that don't fit 100%, or they could have multiple "true" labels, but only use one "not-true" label. A vaguelabel individual could use these other labels for any reason.

• Their true label(s) are not widely used among the community/not well known about

• -their true label(s) have little information on them, so the individual is unsure if it truly fits

• -their true label(s) is frowned upon by people around them, so they use a different label

-their true label (s)'s name sounds more uncomfortable to say than the label(s) they use instead
