Unovagender is a fictigender for when one's gender is strongly influenced by or is connected to the Pokémon region Unova, Pokémon from Unova, characters from Unova, or the story of the generation 5 games, due to neurodivergence.

Similar terms include kantogender, johtogender, hoenngender, sinnohgender, kalosgender, alolagender, and galargender.

History

Unovagender was coined by Twitter user Miraclemask on December 13, 2020. The flag was created at the same time.^[1]
