Transmascfem, transfemasc, or transfemmasc is an individual who is both transfeminine and transmasculine. Reasons for this can include being unassigned at birth, AXAB, intersex, ANC, or others.[1] One may also identity as a gender in between male and female, or masculine and feminine.
History
The original transmascfem flag and term were posted on Jan 26th, 2019 by Tumblr user beyond-mogai-pride-flags.
The alternate and remade transmascfem flags were made by Tumblr user kenochoric on December 24th, 2021.[2]
The transfemmemasc flags were made by Reddit user WrongComparison on Apr 12th, 2021. The flags were made by combining two complementary transfemme and transmasc flag designs, and inserting a purple stripe in the middle to signify being both fem- and masc- at the same time.[3]
