    The transgenderless pride flag.

Transgenderless is an identity where an individual knows they're cisn't, but due to either a general lack of understanding of gender, or a lack of understanding beyond the gender binary, they default to identifying as binary transgender. When asked for their gender, a transgenderless individual may give the gender considered to be the "opposite" of their AGAB, even if it doesn't feel accurate.

There are many reasons one may choose to identify as transgenderless, including (but not limited to):

    • Feeling more euphoria referring to oneself as the gender considered the "opposite" of their AGAB,
    • Feeling less dysphoria referring to oneself as the gender considered the "opposite" of their AGAB,
    • Feeling the gender considered the "opposite" of their AGAB fits better than their AGAB,
    • Feeling their AGAB doesn't describe them well, if at all.

A transgenderless individual does not need to experience euphoria or dysphoria to be transgenderless. It is similar to the term cisgenderless, although instead of identifying as their AGAB, transgenderless individuals identify as the binary gender they were not assigned at birth.

For example, an AFAB individual may know for certain they are not female, so due to a lack of understanding/knowledge of non-binary genders, they choose to identify as male. This is because this label makes them feel more comfortable, but it still doesn't quite fit.

    Flag

The original flag was also coined by FANDOM user -raining-stardust-, on November 17th, 2021.[2] It is based off the transgender flag, although it has a green stripe to represent lack of gender and gender neutrality, as well as being desaturated to represent a metaphorical "grey area".
