Thundergender is a gender connected to lightning or thunder. It may feel like lightning or thunder, share qualities with lightning or thunder, or anything in between.
History
The term was coined September 26, 2021 by FANDOM user DentalFricative. The flags were created the same day. The term has been coined multiple times, the first being in a Tumblr post. The term-coiner did not see the post before naming this.

The gray stripes represent connection to thunder. The light chartreuse stripes represent connection to lightning. The chartreuse stripes represent xenogenders as a whole. The yellow stripe and symbol do not have confirmed meanings.
