The Inter-System or TIS is a gender system for those who are intersex in some shape or form and wish to incorperate their sex with their gender, or feel as though their gender is effected by their sex. This is important, as many intersex individuals struggle with unique gender experiences due to the way their body has developed and/or how it functions.
Binary subsets
- Intergirl: an intersex person who is a girl. This could be effected by their sex, or they may just see both their sex and gender as equally important.
- Interboy: an intersex person who is a boy. This could be effected by their sex, or they may just see both their sex and gender as equally important.
- Interboth: an intersex person who is both a boy and a girl, either simultaneously or back and forth. This could be effected by their sex, or they may just see both their sex and gender as equally important.
Non-binary subsets
- Interenby: an intersex person who is non-binary (in any shape or form.) This could be effected by their sex, or they may just see both their sex and gender as equally important.
- Intergenderless: an intersex person who is genderless, agender, or on the agender spectrum. This could be effected by their sex, or they may just see both their sex and gender as equally important.
- Intermulti: an intersex person who is multigender, genderfluid, genderswap, or pangender. This could be effected by their sex, or they may just see both their sex and gender as equally important.
- Interneu: an intersex person who has an androgynous and/or neutral gender. This could be effected by their sex, or they may just see both their sex and gender as equally important.
