The Tavaline System is a gender system composed of xenogenders based on ordinary objects described with a twist and with deeper meaning.
Genders
- Nepblomic - a gender connected to fake flowers.
- Perenic - a gender connected to old family photos.
- Veintassic - a gender connected to cracked wineglasses
- Kearsic - a gender connected to burnt out candles
- Kellklokic - a gender connected to old clocks
- Antykic - a gender connected to old items passed down as heirlooms.
- Bistloomic - a gender connected to worn out stuffed animals.
- Tegemanic - a gender connected to crafts or pictures you've made as a child.
History & Flag
The Tavaline System was coined by FANDOM user Ariathatsme on May 25, 2021. The flag was designed on the same date by the same user and the meaning goes as follows: pink/red for the subjective meaning of each gender, white for inclusivity across the gender spectrum, blue for curiousity and thought, purple for mystery and beauty, and brown for the vintage mood of many of the genders in this system.
Etymology
The world tavaline is Estonian for "ordinary".
