Tómtsex: (pronounced tompt-sex) is a a term to describe an alter within a system that has little to no sex traits within the inner world. This includes alters with little to no genitals, little to no breasts, or other secondary sex traits. They may or may not also identify as sexless or agenital depending on their inner body.
For example, an alter within a system that has only a single testicle may identify as both tómtsex as well as saying they have cryptorchidism. This term is only to be used by those who are system members, and is not to be used by singlets or anyone who is not a system. One with this sex may identify as tómtgender as well.
History
This term was coined by Cryptocrew on April 15th of 2021 in order to help describe those who are in systems.
Etymology
Tómt means empty in Icelandic.
