Symmaic is "same" gender attraction for non-binary individuals. For example, a paraboy attracted to other paraboys may be considered symmaic. They may also be attracted to similar genders such as demiboy, libramasculine, and bxy, depending on what one considers to be the "same" gender.

The opposite of symmaic is contraic.

    Flag

The term and flag were created by by Tumblr user Identity-Workshop on April 19, 2018.[1] The flag uses purple to represent the median between masculinity and femininity. Yellow and white represent non-binary attraction.

    Etymology

It uses the prefix “sym” as in “symmetry”, meaning “same”.
