Switchblade Sapphic

The Switchblade Sapphic flag.

A Switchblade Sapphic (SbS) is a term for inclusionary sapphics fighting for what they believe is the erasure and exclusion of non-conforming lesbians. This group believes that pronoun non-conforming lesbians are valid as pronouns do not equal gender. They also believe that non-binary lesbians and m-spec lesbians are lesbians too.

SbS uses terms including trixamoric and sapphamore, although not all switchblade sapphics use those identities.

History

The term Switchblade Sapphics was coined by FANDOM user Unfunny person420 on March 21, 2021. The flag was created by the same user on the same day.
