Swiadgender (similar to controlgender) is a subset of genderlead. Swiadgender is where you can control what your leading genders are. The reason for this separate label to exist is because this label is intended for static multigender collectors who can control what their most prominent gender is. However, this can be used for any type of gender collectors who are able to control their leading genders.

History

This gender was coined by Reddit user u/hiitsyaz on June 30, 2021. The flag was designed around the same time by Instagram user mogai.terms.xenogenders.

Etymology

Swiad- is a combination of the word switch and -lead. The -lead part comes from genderlead.
