One who is spectrosexual is not attracted to dead bodies, and this term is not to be used by those with necrophillic intent.

    Is spectrosexual LGBTQ+?

Spectrosexuality is often confused with a paraphillia, however, this is, by most definitions, an incorrect case. Paraphillias are known as sexual disorders that often lead to the distress of the person experiencing them and/or those around them. Whether or not it is a paraphillia is up to debate, depending on ones definition for such.

Spectrosexuality, however, does not usually cause harm, as it does not influence or promote any harmful or dangerous acts, and is simply a desire/attraction to one who do not exist outside of fiction. In some cases, one who is spectrosexual may feel levels of distress due to being unable to have sexual feelings for people in reality, however this does not mean that everyone who is spectrosexual feels this way, nor does it mean spectrosexuality is negative.

Although this term may be seen as odd, one must remember that ghosts/spirits within fiction tend to have human-like personalities and traits. One may find that fictional ghosts have more interesting/attractive personalities, and that they are more attention-grabbing than fictional people or real people.

Spectrosexual, due to being a sexual minority that does not cause harm as well as being ace-spec, would fall under the LGBTQ+ umbrella.
