    The secgender flag.

Secgender, also known as secander and segender, is a geometric mathgender based around having two or more genders that are felt with the utmost certainty while occasionally flowing away or beyond what is typical of said genders. Secgender is inspired by the concept of a secant line and secant function graph.

    History and Flag

The term was created by Tumblr user nonbinarybumblebee on July 15, 2014.[1]

The flag was created by Tumblr user gender-resource on April 16, 2020.[2] Unlike sinegender and tangender, the term did not have a flag before gender-resource's redesign. To match other flags, the color pallet of the secgender flag was derived by drawing a secant function through the color spectrum between yellow and purple, both of which are colors commonly used to represent non-binary genders.
