Seagender, also known as thalassogender is a xenogender in which one’s gender is deep and unknown as the ocean itself. It’s a gender that is mostly incomprehensible, but slightly familiar in human terms.^[2]^[3]

History

The term Seagender was coined on August 27, 2015.
