Scenecoric is a coric xenogender related to scenecore. It is based on the aesthetic of the scene subculture. It involves the imagery of neon colors, black stripes or checkered patterns, fingerless gloves, rainbows, colorful and chunky beads, as well as scene music and other media associated with the subculture.
History
Scenecoric was coined on February 15, 2019 by an anonymous submitter on the Tumblr Beyond-MOGAI-Pride-Flags.[1]
Flag
The scenecoric flag was designed by Tumblr user Beyond-MOGAI-Pride-Flags on February 20, 2019.[2]
The alternate flag was designed by The Anomaly. The black comes from being typically used in the aesthetic and balancing the flag, and the magenta and green come from typical scenecore colors and were loosely based on the genderqueer flag.
Another alternate flag was created based on the first one by Mod Hermy of Pride-Flags Deviantart to be relatively easier on the eyes.[3]
