    The first diamond diagram

The gender diamond (unofficial name) is a diagram made by the now-deleted blog qxej on Tumblr. The diamond was a diagram explaining qxej's newly coined proxangi and juxtaneu genders and how they relate to the circa-binary system of female/male/androgyne/gender neutral points, as arranged in a diamond with female on the left corner, male on the right corner, androgyne on the top corner, gender neutral on the bottom corner, and agender in the center.[1] Some identities are composed of centrigender experiences.

The Four Primary Corners and the Center

The four primary corners of the diamond show the way these identities are oriented between female, male, androgyne, and gender neutral. They are arranged like a compass.

    • Female or feminine to the left/west, represented with red.
    • Male or masculine to the right/east, represented with blue.
    • Androgyne to the top/north, represented with purple.
    • Epicene/gender neutral to the bottom/south, represented with green.
    • Agender in the center, represented with black.

    The Halfway Points

Defining these as the halfway points between the four primary corners, these four can be interpreted as between two corners, or as a combination of the two quarter points that plank them on either side.

    • Gynx between female/androgyne or juxera/proxangi, represented with pink.
    • Androx between androgyne/male proxangi/proxvir, represented with indigo.
    • Neutromme between male/epicene or proxvir/juxtaneu, represented with mint green.
    • Neutremme between epicene/female or juxtaneu/juxera, represented with yellow.

    The Quarter Points

These four are between the primary and halfway points of the diamond. They are connected to the primary points they're next to, but are still separate and entirely their own.

    • Juxera between gynx/female and neutremme/female, represented with red.
    • Proxangi between gynx/androgyne and androgyne/androx, represented with purple.
    • Proxvir between androx/male and male/neutromme, represented with blue.
    • Juxtaneu between neutromme/epicene and epicene/neutremme.

Related Genders Not On the First Diamond

    • Neutrangi can be considered between epicene and androgynous, or a combination of juxtaneu and proxangi. It forms a trinary with gynx as the feminine and androx as the masculine members.
    • Femache can be considered between male/female, or considered a combination of juxera and proxivr.

    Derived Genders On Other Diamonds

    • Neutremmangi (or gynoneutrangi) between female and neutrangi.
    • Neutrommangi (or androneutrangi) between between male and neutrangi.
    • Neutrélanger between between neutrangi and gender-neutral.[2]
    • Neutréparé between between a given aporagender and gender-neutral.
    • Aporax between a given aporagender and androgyne.
    • Neutrax between between neutrangi and androgyne.
    • Aporagyne between between female and aporagender.
    • Androaporine between between male and aporagender.
    • Juxtaneutrangi relative to neutrangi, but is distinct from it. It does not lie outside of the gender spectrum. A term to describe gender that is immediately proximal to neutrangi in the gender spectrum.
    • Aproxora relative to a given aporagender, but is distinct from it. It does not lie outside of the gender spectrum. A term to describe gender that is immediately proximal to a given aporagender in the gender spectrum.[3]
