    Puretécentia (pronounced pew-de-tay-sen-tia) is a term for those who are too young understand their gender, sexuality, romantic orientation, and/or identity. This term could describe a child or otherwise young individual without expecting them to understand their attraction or gender. Some examples include...

    • An AFAB or AMAB child who does not understand the concept of the gender pushed onto them.
    • An UAB or AXAB child who lives their life without any roles without even being aware that gender roles exist.
    • A child who does not understand the concept of pronouns.
    • An innocentsexual child who does not understand the concept of gender and has crushes regardless.

    Puretécentia was coined by Cryptocrew on February 8th of 2021 and was officialized and named on February 10th of 2021.

    Flag

    The flag was coined by Cryptocrew on February 10th of 2021. Yellow represents pronouns, pink represents romance, purple represents gender, blue represents identity, red represents sexuality, green represents nature and education/learning, and white represents innocence and purity. The figure represents childhood and children and the flowers represent beauty and growth.
