    Procarnal is a term related to the ARCsexual umbrella which describes an individual who is sex-favorable. Procarnal individuals enjoy or feel favorable towards sexual attraction/interaction.

    This term is commonly used within the asexual community, but is not exclusive to this community or sexuality.

    History and flag

    The term was coined on December 14, 2014 by the ARC Resources tumblr.[1] The flag was made by wiki user honk4bees on June 23rd, 2021, with the shades of pink representing the favorable feelings towards sex, the purple stripe representing a connection to asexuality, and the teal stripes representing how the aforementioned favorable feelings may be fluctuating or outside of someone's standard experiences. An alternate procarnal flag was made by ElderflowerJuice on September 3rd, 2021. It uses the current procarnal flag's colors and is represented by a symbol of Dionysus.
