Presential attraction, also known as tangible attraction, vital attraction, or material attraction is a form of tertiary attraction based on a desire to know someone through their presence.[1] It is similar to sensual attraction but one desires to be in someone's physical presence rather than to touch or be intimate with them. It is a desire to know someone through their presence, without an aspect of intimacy. This is often coupled with another form of attraction such as aesthetic, platonic, social, etc.[2]
A presential crush is possibly known as a swoon.[3] The reverse counterpart is supposed to be virtudinal attraction.
