    Polyinterpretarian is a mutogender and subset of Interpretarian. It is defined as when someone's gender is perceived differently by multiple individuals, the person identifies with more than one but not all genders. A person who is Polyinterpretarian may have an interpretation of their own gender[1].

    The colors are inspired by the alternative multigender flag.

    Examples include:

    -If person X is female but is perceived by person Z as male, perceived by person Y as a demigirl, and perceived by person W as agender, person X now identifies as a male demigirl.
    

    History and Flag

    this term was coined by discord user Samnaderi#9023 on 10 June 2022[1]. the name was suggested by discord user cherrybirb#7221[2]. The first flag, made by user Four00am, was inspired by the alternative multigender flag.

    Etymology

    The prefix poly- comes from the Greek prefix polus, meaning "many". Interpretarian is a play on 'Interpretation' and the suffix -ian, which means 'to belong to.'
