Piscin is a gender in the aecor system in which ones gender feels like a swimming pool. It may be a coric or aesthetic xenogender relating to pools, or a mutogender in which ones gender is affected by swimming. It is similar to stagmun, except that it does not include faunagenders as part of its definition. Piscin may be added on to another identity, and one may identify as a piscingirl, a piscinboy, or a piscinenby/piscinonbinary.
Etymology
Piscin comes from the Spanish word for pool, piscina. However, it is pronounced similar to Pisces.
History
Piscin was coined by Wikia User Double-Bi, also known as Jacinto (though he went by James at the time), on January 2nd, 2021, in addition to the rest of the genders in the aecor system.
Flag
The alternate piscin flag was made on the same day the term was coined, by user Starfruit110. The flag has shades of blue, to represent the connection to water, and also the different ways and intensity of piscin. The flag also has a pool, to represent the connection to pools.
