Petalflux is a sub-identity of Petalgender; which is a fluid Non-Binary Xenogender between states of neutral, feminine, unaligned, and xeninity.

This is a gender connected to non-physical beings, an overgrown cottagecore aesthetic, and multiple different animals. Described as cute, small, delicate, soft, anxious and related to muted pastels. Petalflux is very similar to Genderfluid in the aspect that the animal chosen can fluctuate, from small animals such as bunnies and mice, to other prey animals like deer. Domesticated animals also can be claimed under this identity, such as cats and dogs.

Often, people who are Petalgender may not be able to explain their gender due to ADHD or Autism, and may fall under Genderfluid, Genderdoe, Xenogenders, and Agender.
