    Pencontrasexual refers to the attraction to all genders except the gender that is the "opposite" or "other" of one's own. It can be considered an umbrella term. What gender exactly is the "opposite" of one's identity can be determined by the individual. The opposite to pencontrasexual is penultisexual.

    Examples include a nonbinary demiboy attracted to boys and nonbinary individuals, but not girls, or a bigender girl-boy being attracted to girls and boys, but not nonbinary individuals.
