    The orchidsexual flag
    An orchidsexual flag.

Orchidsexual is a micro-label on the asexual spectrum. It can be used on it’s own or as an umbrella term. Orchidsexual is when an individual feels sexual attraction, but does not desire a sexual relationship. Someone who identifies with this may consider people sexually attractive, but lacks the want to have or dislikes having sexual experiences. Orchidsexual can be described as “the opposite of cupiosexual.

The romantic equivillent of orchidsexual is orchidromantic.

    Etymology

Both the orchidsexual term and flag were coined on April 6th, 2021 by FANDOM user ringotheman. two flags were created at this time, colors holding the same meanings. Pink represents attraction, and grey the asexual spectrum. Black represents the lack of desire, or unwanting. purple represents sexual relationships. a simplified orchid outline is featured on the flags to acknowledge the term's etymology.
