Ochinian is a term to describe those who can't have a relationship at all. This includes platonic, queerplatonic, sexual, romantic, etc. This can be for many different reasons, such as:

Not wanting to, or having no attraction whatsoever.
External or internal factors telling them that having a relationship is bad, or that 'love is unnecessary.'
One's own feelings causing one to be ochinian.

An ochi individual can be lesbian, gay, poly, etc; however, they wouldn't want a relationship. Ochi individuals do not have attraction nor relationships. They do not feel attraction at all.

History

The term was coined by FANDOM user ChonkieTheFrog on July 4, 2021.

Etymology

The word 'ochi-' is derived from the Greek phrase for 'no love,' which is 'ΟΧΙ αγαπη' (OCHI agapi). However, ochinian individuals desire no relationships whatsoever, not just 'love' relationships.
