Neutric was coined by Queerness-Lover on tumblr on July 20, 2021[1]. The terms come from the word "neutral" and "neutrois".

The flag was designed by Tumblr user Queerness-Lover on July 20, 2021[2]. The two first stripes come from the Neutrois flag and the two green stripes is for the attraction to neutrois people.
