Neongender is a xenogender and colorgender, that is defined as a colourful gender that shines brightly, and can be distracting to oneself. This aspect of the gender can apply to one’s entire gender, or only to parts of the gender.
History
Neongender was coined by Tumblr user nonbinary-paradise on July 25, 2016.[2]
Flags
The first neonbinary flag was created on March 24, 2019 by by tumblr user Ostereigender (aka polysexualtea/aresgoesgender/thepancherryblossom), the second one was created by Tumblr user arco-pluris on the same date.[3]
The third flag was created on October 20, 2020 by twitter user _mewikuu, which is an all-inclusive flag, not just for the neonbinaries, but for the neongirls and boys too.
