Myrromantic is a romantic orientation on the aromantic spectrum in which one experiences multiple aro-spec identities. These identities may be static (kymenic) or they may fluctuate (amplusic). An example would be someone who is demiromantic and greyromantic or caligoromantic and amicusromantic.
Myrromantic can be similar to aroflux, but a myrromantic individual is not always fluid between their labels.
The sexual equivalent to this is myrsexual. The platonic equivalent to this is myrplatonic. The sensual equivalent to this is myrsensual. The abroromantic equivalent to this is centrispec.
History and Flag
The term was coined by deactivated Tumblr user pride-flags-for-us on September 9nd, 2015. The flag was created at the same time. Varying shades of green are for the assorted types of orientations on the aromantic spectrum. White is for the aromantic people who may experience attraction at certain times or under certain circumstances. Grey is for greyromantics and other identities similar to this. Black is for the lack of attraction.[1]
An alternate myrromantic flag was designed by FANDOM user Unfunny person420 on April 8th, 2021.[2] The colors were rearranged to create a more symmetrical appearance.[3]
