Mascuella is a gender term which describes women who feel more masculine than feminine, but still experience and identify with femininity to some degree.
The opposite of mascuella is femculus. Similar terms include masqyne, mascandrogyne, tomboy, bigender, and androgyne.
History
The term was coined on July 24, 2021. It is unknown who coined it.
Etymology
The word comes from the Latin words masculus, meaning masculine, and femella, meaning feminine.
