Mascandrogyne or masculine androgyne refers to an androgyne or otherwise androgynous gendered person whose gender is more masculine than feminine. One's gender is simultaneously masculine and feminine, or is in between masculine and feminine, however the masculine part outweighs the feminine part. The exact amounts femininity and masculinity may fluctuate, but the masculinity always or almost always outweighs the femininity. Mascandrogyne people may also experience a connection to neutrality.
Similar gender include androx, androge, and andryne. The feminine equivalent is femandrogyne.
Flag
An alternate mascandrogyne flag was made by emsydacat on August 1, 2021. It is made to resemble an alternate androgyne flag by the same creator with an emphasis on the masculine color, shown by the blue striped gradient. The pink stripe symbolizes femininity and the purple stripe represents a combination of the two, as well as neutrality.
Another alternate flag was created by Fivetrench on August 21, 2022. This flag is based off of the alternate androgyne flag and uses two blue stripes rather than the original blue and pink to symbolize the lean towards masculinity.
