Asterian also known as Maedic describes a wlnb or a woman who is attracted to non-binary individuals, and/or a woman who prioritizes their attraction to non-binary individuals over other attractions they may have. This attraction can be exclusive or not. Asterian is an umbrella term like sapphic and is typically not used as an identity on it's own, however it can be if desired. It was intended for women who are dating non-binary individuals, but those that attached to non-binary Individuals anyways can also use it.
History
The term was coined by deactivated Tumblr user Orbisian-Prinxess. It was coined on February 10th, 2018, around the same time as astroidian. The flag was also designed by Orbisian-Prinxess; meanings unknown[1].
