An M-Spec Exclusionist, also known as a Battleaxe Bisexual (BaB) or Band-Aid Bisexual (BanBi), is an exclusionist who believes that pansexuality, omnisexuality, polysexuality and other m-spec labels other than bisexual contribute to biphobia and transphobia. An example of this is the 2002 definition of pansexuality which was "attraction to men, women, and trans people." (For further reading, see: this [sourced] document.)

There are a handful of people within the BaB community who also believe that m-spec labels are the same as bisexual. However, other BaBs seem to lean against stating these labels are all equivalent to one another; this is in favor of erasing the existence of mspec labels themselves.

Some BaBs doxx, harass, and/or send death threats to those who are or support those who are m-spec; however, not all of them do. On the other side of the coin, others within this exclusionist group favor participating in educational dialogue between themselves and those who support mspec labels.

Blueberry Bisexuals (BBs) are bisexuals who support pansexuality and m-spec labels; they aren't exclusionists, but they do support education on pansexuality's and other m-spec labels biphobic and/or transphobic past definitions, mostly by attempting to help change those definitions instead of eradicating the sexualities entirely. Many BaBs, however, consider BBs to have internalized biphobia or to be uneducated. BaBs will also preach how they don't support those who do doxx and harass; however, this is seen to be false in their small communities. [citation needed]

    History and Explanation

The term Battleaxe Bisexual was coined by an unknown person, and they themselves were pro-pansexual, however, the term has since been flipped on its head and it's now widely seen as an exlcusionist term. BaBs also claim that pansexuals have stolen the definition of bisexual. Additionally, BaBs do admit they stole the term Battleaxe Bisexual.
