Lingerromantic is experiencing little to no romantic attraction but desires it to happen one, but due to trauma, religion, stories, or simply a "gut-feeling," they fear stuff will go wrong. Yet they seek a romantic relationship with someone who they know they could trust, and it could take a long time for someone with this term to feel comfortable/ready to jump into romantic terms.
