    The Intramasculine Flag

Intramasculine, or intra-masc is a term used to describe transgender/non-cis individuals who were AMAB and identify fully or partially as a masculine gender, or feel that masculinity strongly influences their gender. They may be man-aligned, mingender, or present masculinely, but still are not cisgender men.

They may have other, non-masculine genders as well, though typically one's masculine identities are more significant that one's non-masculine identities, or one wants to emphasize their masculine identity.

This may be considered to AMAB counterpart to transmasculine. The feminine equivalent is intrafeminine.

    History

Intramasculine was coined by Instagram user @mogai.terms on March 18, 2021. It was made with the purpose of giving a label to AMAB masculine-aligned/man-aligned people, since transmasculine only applies to non-AMAB people.
