    The intrafeminine flag.

Intrafeminine, or intra-fem is a term used to describe transgender/non-cis individuals who were AFAB and identify fully or partially as a feminine gender, or feel that femininity strongly influences their gender. They may be woman-aligned, fingender, or present femininely, but still are not cisgender women.

They may have other, non-feminine genders as well, though typically one's feminine identities are more significant that one's non-feminine identities, or one wants to emphasize their feminine identity.

This may be considered to AFAB counterpart to transfeminine. The masculine equivalent is intramasculine.

    History

Intrafeminine was coined by Instagram user @mogai.terms on March 18, 2021. It was made with the purpose of giving a label to AFAB feminine-aligned/woman-aligned people, since transfeminine only applies to non-AFAB people.

    Flag

The intrafeminine was made at the same time that the label was coined, by the same person. Light yellow represents intersex and isogender intra-fems, light pink is for intra-fems who are only partially feminine, medium pink for intra-fems who feel their gender is very strongly feminine, and the dark pink in the center is symbolic of feeling feminine within and relating to ones non-cisgender identity.

    Etymology

Intra comes from the Latin "within".
