Halfromantic or Pleruromantic is the romantic attraction to mostly one gender, but occasionally to another. This is not to be confused with biromantic, panromantic, omniromantic, or polyromantic. It is similar to heteroflexible and homoflexible.

Examples include:

Mainly being attracted to women, but occasionally to men.
Mainly being attracted to men, but occasionally to women.
Mainly being attracted to non-binary individuals, but occasionally to women.
Mainly being attracted to non-binary individuals, but occasionally to men.

The sexual counterpart is halfsexual. The platonic counterpart is halfplatonic

History and Flags

The term was coined by FANDOM user MemeTiger21 on September 5, 2021. It was coined through this page and has no outside resources.

The halfromantic flag was created by the same user. Pink represents feminine genders, blue represents masculine genders, and gray represents genders that aren’t binary. The heart represents romanticism.

An alternate halfromantic flag was created by FANDOM user JaidenRoseLmao, on September 27th 2021.
