    The genderund flag.

    Genderund is a is a form of genderfluidity that only encompasses genders that are not male or masculine, while also feeling that one's genders are confusing/hard to describe, and so may describe their genders in strange terms. It can encompass things such as using xenogenders, neurogenders, etc. This is purposely vague, but can encompass things such as using xenic terms (eg. “My gender feels like a forest”) or ‘levels’ (eg. “I’m 20% neutral and 80% genderless.”)

    The masculine counterpart is gendergryph.

    History

    The term was coined by Tumblr user mogai-coining on July 29, 2020.[1]

    The flag was created by Tumblr user mogai-coining on July 29, 2020. The first stripe represents uncertainty of gender, the second stripe represents nonbinaryness, the third stripe represents gender(s), the fourth stripe represents genderlessness, the fifth and sixth stripes represent feminine, FIN, FIA, and female/woman/girl-aligned genders, and the last stripe represents fluidity of gender.

    Etymology

    Genderund follows the mythical naming scheme. Genderund’s name comes from undines.
