    The gendernegative flag.
    The original gendernegative flag.

Gendernegative or g− is a term that can be used by genderflux individuals to describe the state when one feels that their gender is not present. When gendernegative, one feels fully or almost fully genderless, with little to no gender present.

Its counterpart is genderpositive and genderneutral. It is sometimes considered a mathgender but may not always be experienced that way.

    History and Flag

Gendernegative was coined on June 24, 2014, in a satirical post by Tumblr user allofyouguysarefuckingannoying and reclaimed by Tumblr user askanonbinary on the same date.[1] The satirical post also included a flag.

The current flag and definition were created by Tumblr user hyaenahart sometime between June 24 and July 8, 2014.[2]
