    The gendercurator flag.
    Alternate gendercurator flag by Tumblr user felix-makes-flags

    Gendercurator is a subset of genderhoarder/gendercollector.

    A gendercurator may feel that the specific act of choosing, curating, and organizing genders is an important aspect of their gender, as opposed to just having a lot of genders.

    This term was coined with neurodivergent people in mind, but it is not exclusively for neurodivergent people, nor is it specifically a neurogender.

    It may also be used by one whose passion involves curating in some way (zine editing, collage, DJing, gallery curating etc.) and who wishes to incorporate this into ones gender.

    A gendercurator may group some genders together, or position them with certain thematic intentions as though curating an art exhibition. The genders can be static or fluid, and a fluid gendercurator may view it as periodically changing or updating the exhibition.

    Examples of reasons one may identify as a gendercurator include (but are not limited to);

    • A transmasculine xenogender person who groups their masculine genders together and their xenogenders together to better appreciate them.
    • A fictigender person who curates their genders according to the source material of the associated kintypes.
    • A person with multiple different colorgenders arranging them according to hue.

    History and Flag

    The meanings of the flag colors are;

    Red: Genders positioned based on gut instinct.

    Yellow: Genders positioned out of curiosity or experimentation.

    Light Green: Genders positioned to direct the flow of the exhibition in regards to layout and general atmosphere.

    Dark Green: Genders in conversation with each other or genders that do something interesting when positioned together.

    The alternate flag was made by Tumblr user felix-makes-flags on December 19th, 2021.[1]
