Gender Sparks

"Gender Spark" is a term that describes an unexpected change to one's gender. A spark could look like the following:

• *Feeling like one particular gender for a longer period of time, or more intensely than usual, if genderfluid
• Identifying as a monogender, then having a sudden experience of a multigender or vise-versa
• Having a masculine identity, but temporarily (and unexpectadly) feeling as though it is feminine or vise-versa

This is not an identity by itself, thus making it different from spikegender, genderspike or otherwise fluid identities. How one might use gender sparks to explain their experience of gender could be as follows:

• "I am genderflux, currently going through a libra spark"
• "I am genderfluid, currently in a male spark" (relating to first point above *)
• "I identify as gender-neutral but sometimes have sparks related to feminine genders"
