Patroclian, or patroclic, is an identity used by homosexual men (men who feel attraction to other men). The term was coined by an anonomous person on Tumblr. Due to the fact that gay has become a term for the entire LGBT community, there wasn't a term specifcally for homosexual men. For this reason, a proposed term was coined for homosexual men who wanted their own identity.
Ethymology
The term patroclian comes from the Greek name Patroclus, who was thought to be Achilles lover.
