Frayfluid is an Aroace identity where your loss of romantic and sexual attraction fluctuates in intensity getting weaker the more you get to know someone until it fully fades away. once attraction fades away completely it does NOT return (to be both Fraysefluid and Frayrofluid)
the term Frayfluid was created as a type of Aspec identity for when someone experiences attraction that fades away, but before fading away it can get stronger or weaker in intensity, coined specifically as it is a type of Fraysexual and Frayromantic but still a unique experience. the term is part of the Aroace community and is an Aspec identity.
someone who is Frayfluid can still feel other types of attraction such as platonic, sensual, queerplatonic and more.
Frayfluid can be an individual orientation on its own or can combined with other orientations. For example, one could be Frayfluid and Straight, meaning that when one does experience sexual attraction it is to the opposite gender.
Flag
The Frayfluid flag was formed by overlapping the Fraysefluid and Frayrofluid flags. The flag has seven stripes, a dark blue-purple at the top, a greyish teal, light teal, white, teal-grey, navy-gray and a darker blue-purple at the base. the flag can also be depicted by 7 stripes, mirrored above and below the middle white stripe.
the flag was heavily based off of the Fraysexual and Frayromantic flags.
