Flutegender describes a xenogender that strongly identify to one's own flutes, to flutes in general or want to include flutes into their gender. Flutegender also involves recorders, piccolos, or any other wind instruments.
Despite the fact that flutes are often considered feminine, anyone can be flutegender.
History
Flutegender was created by Cody Rosel, a Tumblr user, February 26th, 2021 to represent how much flutes, and other types of woodwinds similar to the flute such as piccolos, made an impact on his life.

The colors of the Flutegender flag represent:
Color one (Grey): Nickle, Silver, and Brass which is what flutes are usually made out of.
Color two (Light silver): High pitch. Flutes can play up the three octaves higher than the middle octave C (C4).
Color three (White): Melodies, which is usually what the flute plays.
Color four (Light Orange-gold): Trills and Slurs, which is usually associated to flutes.
Color five (Dark Orange-gold): To represent that flutes can actually play really low too. Flutes can play down to C7 and ones with foot joints can play one note lower than it.
