The floral system is a system describing of non-binary gender presentation without having to use binary language like "masculine" or "woman-aligned". It is used similar to how the lesbian terms "butch" and "femme" are used.
The system is similar to the pallet system, which also described non-binary presentation. The difference is that in the floral system one's gender expression is important to their identity. Their gender alignment does not have to align with their presentation, for example one could be masculine aligned but present femininely, however that feminine presentation is important to one's gender. In the pallet system one's presentation is completely unrelated to their gender.
The floral system is named such because all of the names of alignments are derived from the names of flowers.
