Not to be confused with Demongender, the kingender, or Demongender, the neurogender

    The Fiendgender flag.
    Undecorated Fiendgender Flag
Dark Blue: Being or feeling disconnected from the human perspective and experience, and learning how to better relate. Purple: Magic and spirit that is inherent when it comes to being a creature of pure magic and spirit rather than bone and blood. Cyan: Protecting, ourselves, our community, and others, as whilst fiends have been the subject of one incredibly effective smear campaign, we also are protectors and teachers and caretakers. White: Inclusive of all fiends and demons, no matter the type or what sort of mystic source they find comfort or strength from, be it the Hell that the Lightbringer watches over, a personal source of power like my own Void, or otherwise. All fiends are valid in their identity, and we will not shun any of them.
    Flag colours explained

Fiendgender or Fiendishgender is a neurogender that is connected with fiendish entities and magic, whilst also intended as an umbrella term for all fiendish and demonic identities. This applies to all fiends and partial fiends, regardless of their origin. This applies for those who identify as some kind of theological, mythological, or fictional fiend.

    History

This term was coined on the r/XenogenderAndMore subreddit on April 23rd, 2022, by user TheTransFiendling[1].

    Flag

Both iterations of the Fiendgender flag were created on April 21st, 2020 by user TheTransFiendling twitter.

The markings surrounding the horns phonetically spell out the word "fiendish," in a writing system made by TheTransFiendling.

The colours were inspired by other flags, notably the robogender flag found on nonbinary.wiki, which inspired the dark blue.[2]

Dark Blue: Being or feeling disconnected from the human perspective and experience, and learning how to better relate.

Purple: Magic and spirit that is inherent when it comes to being a creature of pure magic and spirit rather than bone and blood.

Cyan: Protecting, fiendselves, their community, and others, as whilst fiends have been the subject of one incredibly effective smear campaign, we also are protectors and teachers and caretakers.

White: Inclusive of all fiends and demons, no matter the type or what sort of mystic source they find comfort in or draw strength from, be it the Hell that the Lightbringer watches over, a personal source of power like the creator's own Void, or otherwise. All fiends are valid in their identity, and we will not shun any of them.

    Trivia:

    • Whilst fiend had identified as Fiendgender for several months, it was not till after sharing the flag design that the creator publicly shared fiend definition of what was meant by Fiendgender
    • The language used on the flag is called Voidyzian, and it was also made by TheTransFiendling.[3]
    • The reason robogender is significant is because the person who really introduced the flag creator to Xenogender as a concept identifies as robogender.
