    Fictoromantic flag

Fictoromantic, also known as fictiromantci or fictionalromantic, is an umbrella term for anyone who experience exclusive romantic attraction toward fictional characters, a general type of fictional characters, or whose romantic orientation is influenced by fictional characters.

Some fictoromantic individuals experience attraction to certain genders in fiction, but don't experience attraction to said genders in the non-fictional world. For example, one may experience attraction to all genders in fiction, but only experience attraction to women in the non-fictional world.

It is also sometimes an aro-spec identity, as some aro-spec individuals may feel romantic attraction exclusively to individuals whom they could never possibly be in a relationship with, such as fictional characters. The sexual equivalent is fictosexual.

    These terms include:

    • Animeromantic - the attraction to anime characters
    • Cartoromantic - the attraction to cartoon or comic characters
    • Bookloromantic - the attraction to characters from novels
    • Gamoromantic - the attraction to video game characters
    • Inrearomantic - the attraction to live action TV show/movie characters.
    • Spectromantic - the attraction to ghostlike characters
    • Nekoromantic - the attraction to feline-like characters
    • Anuafromantic - the attraction to animalistic characters (not including feline-like characters)
    • Teratoromantic - the attraction to monster-like characters
    • Multifictino - a mix of exclusive fictional attraction. Example: being attracted exclusively to anime and cartoon characters.

The black and grey stripes represent the lack of attraction towards non-fictional individuals, the green stripe represents romantic attraction and the aromantic spectrum, the black circle represents a "portal" to the fictional world in question, and the pink represents attraction to fictional characters.
