Fasmagender is a non-binary gender where one feels partly female/male/non-binary, but also feels separated from the male/female gender spectrum and feels like a gender on its own. It can be described as a combination of androgyne and aporagender. Like androgyne people, fasmagender people don't have to feel the same amounts of each gender. For example, they can be 60% male, 25% non-binary and 15% female.

    History

The term fasmagender was coined by Scratch user azzurra711 in October 2020 to describe his own experiences with gender, since he couldn't find anything that fit him.

    Flag

The fasmagender flag was also created by Scratch user azzurra711 in October 2020.

    Eytmology

The prefix fasma- comes from the Greek word φάσμα, pronounced /fásma/.
