Erinevean is a gender identity where ones gender identity doesn’t necessarily shift, but there’s still a disparity between how it feels and seems internally, and how it can be described and/or visualized. For example, one might feel that their gender is a mingender, but when trying to visualize and conceptualize their gender, it may appear as something completely different like a ball of light, a plant, etc. Erinevean people can have any and/or all genders, there's just a disparity between those genders and their conceptualization.
Etymology
The term 'erinevean' comes from the Estonian word 'erinevus' meaning 'disparity'.
History
The idea and definition for the term was coined by LGBTA Wiki user Emberfrost-cat on February 28, 2021, and the actual term was coined by LGBTA Wiki user Reign of the queerios on the same day.
